Meet the Band...Malachi Malachi is an 8th grader. He plays fiddle and mandolin and sings lead and/or harmony on many of the band's songs. Malachi began his musical journey at the tender age of 7 in the Young Appalachian Musicians Program and he also enjoys teaching other musicians through the YAMS program.
He enjoys weekly visits with his Great Grandfather, loves technology, coin collecting and his pet parakeet.
One of his favorite bands is "Carson Peters and Iron Mountain."
